Black Women Talk Tech (BWTT) is a collective of black women tech founders formed to identify, support and encourage black women to build the next billion dollar business. We are expanding nationally with local chapters and are currently looking for a second lead for our founding San Francisco chapter!


Responsibilities

  • Finding and securing the event venues. Suggested locations include tech companies, accelerators, co-working spaces, and libraries
  • Planning and hosting monthly mastermind meetings
  • Must send a calendar/agendas for meetings upfront to BWTT
  • Manage Chapter Slack channel. Slack will be the main communication tool for chapter members
  • Join quarterly chapter leader calls
  • Commit to serving for (1) one year as a Chapter Leader

Preferred Qualifications

  • Founder based in the chapter city
  • Event management or experience leading teams/groups
  • Sales or fundraising experience
